Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom. His original vision for Instagram was a photography app. Fast forward 10 years later, and it is now one of the most popular social media platforms in the world. It even became a full-time job for people such as influencers.

What is an influencer? An influencer is one who has sufficient background knowledge on a specific topic and most importantly, credibility. An influencers' knowledge leads them to gain a large following and ultimately has the “power” to sway their audience into purchasing products. There are various types of influencers found on Instagram such as; beauty, fashion, fitness, travel, etc.
